I'm sorry if I hadn't been talking to you much since that last virus stopped. I've been too ashamed of my own human weakness to acknowledge it even exists...and perhaps the fact I could've hurt Ruki as bad as I've heard only compounded things. I don't know if she could ever handle finding out what we did in Albion that night, and the idea of it makes me feel grave shame.

I don't know if your daughter will ever come to accept me, but...can we at least start with us? Considering we can't hide anything anymore, well...

I didn't even have to see you teary-eyed for five seconds to get an idea of what was troubling you. I know it has to be the virus that's making your daughter so stand-offish and the *thought* it's breaking your heart makes me want to die inside.

I've been informed that there was a skirmish on the grounds last night.

At first my assumption was that a malignant Digimon or Tamer tried to break into the base, but then I was told that it was a pair of DATS agents apparently having a fight.

Anyone care to explain themselves and this incident?

Daimon-hakase...I don't know if Yushima has already discussed this with you, but I decided it would be best if I told you about my own decisions personally.

I'm not sure how much of a consensus it is, but I think our major move of action should be obtaining the rest of those tags. I know the risks involved: we will gain the ability to evolve our Digimon to the Ultimate level, but our enemies will be able to do the same to theirs.

Yet despite we took a risk attacking the Dark Area and failed, this may just be one risk we have no choice but to take. Our enemies are practically Ultimate level in strength to begin with, and considering our forces were decimated there--as well as allies and friends at the Hinata Inn being stalked, attacked and brutally defeated by one 'Doctor Doom'--we cannot risk having anyone else meet Takamachi Nanoha's fate, DATS agent or not.

The time may have to come where we must level the playing field, despite whatever consequences lay ahead because of it. How we go about this is up to you, or if we even go through with this at all. But I am open to any alternatives you might suggest.

Either way, we realistically cannot defeat any of our enemies unless we can make our Digimon evolve to Ultimate again.

I suppose it would be best to thank all of you for your efforts. Not just DATS' agents, but also our allies, even those who we barely know but were willing to take up arms and fight against the counterattack. As a head commander of DATS, I extend my thanks and gratitude to all of you.

At this point, while we are eager to say that Kurata is dead and the fight against him over, we know that his body has not yet been recovered from Mount Mars, and some of his more powerful allies have escaped capture. But many of those he had captured and brainwashed into becoming Bio Hybrids have been freed and are undergoing treatments and therapies to help them cope with what Kurata had done to them. For those who have loved ones still under his control by proxy...I promise that efforts to locate and free them will continue until every last one is brought home.

...Now that official business has been stated and reaffirmed, I have a personal announcement to make.

I will be aiding in reconstruction efforts wherever it's needed, but know that I will be leaving this weekend to attend to personal matters in Albion. As of right now, I do not know how long I will be staying there just yet, or if I am needed there for an extended period of time. But when I arrive and are given further details, I will let all of you know.

Seeing as Commander Daimon has been put on official medical leave because of his injuries, I'd like to make a request of field commanders Tohma H. Norstein and Takaishi Takeru: if they would be willing to temporarily assist Commander Yushima with leadership matters until I return. Although I do not see any immediate dangers popping up during my leave, I trust both of you with making any important decisions in my absence and I look forward to seeing you step up to the challenge. Your final decision is yours and yours alone, and I will respect it if you have reasons to decline.

I will still answer any questions you might have when I return, and I shall keep a channel open to both DATS Commanders and Field Commanders if emergencies should arise.

Despite a few small setbacks due to the cause--which I will state now that I am uninterested in discussing--I wish to make this important announcement:

Starting immediately, I am formally returning to all of my previous duties as your commander.

In these times, a lot of us have found the strength to cope with what our enemies have dealt to us. For some of us, repeated tragedy has only made them stronger and with a clearer view of what needs to be done. Those of you who fit that description know who you are, and know that you are the shining example of what face DATS must put out in order to prove that we are here to stay. We will not falter, we will not back down, and we most certainly will not surrender.

As always, I will take any and all questions and suggestions. And if you are among those with friends or family that have been abducted and mutated...I swear upon my life and with every bit of technology and determination this organization has that we will bring them home.

I'm sure there have been many of you who have been concerned over your commander's progress. Yes, I know what he's been through has been nothing short of traumatic for most, but the fact he has come back this strong means more than the fact that a Demon King had temporarily taken his life. I don't know how long it will be before he's able to work the D-Comm without assistance from myself or anyone else, but...

I suppose it's for the better since he doesn't want anyone to see him in his state of weakness.

I hope that you all understand this sort of reasoning; after all, if there's anyone who values each and every one of you as agents--whether you actually are one of us or not--it's him. Those of you who are closest to him and have known him the longest would know this better than anyone. And I won't deny that these will be extremely difficult times without him directly there to guide you. But the fact you are willing to stand up and go on while Satsuma fights his own battle, to continue to face whatever lies ahead...he's proud of you, as am I.

To those of you who are agents of DATS:

I assume from this that you've already seen Commander Daimon's message, and his reference to a future session where you are asked to train for the upcoming invasion. I know many of you have already been working extremely hard to increase your strength, stamina and smarts for the last week and a half in light of this, and for some of you, it's really starting to show. However, simply sparring amongst yourselves isn't the only thing you can do, nor is it the most ideal.

To rectify this, Commander Daimon and I offer those of you interested to join the both of us in the Goc Desert on Sunday morning to train. Whoever comes with us shall see first-hand what we do in order to prepare for these sort of events, as well as a chance to find out your strengths and weaknesses: and how to correct them.

Don't expect this session to be easy, either. I want to make sure every last one of us gets through this alive, that we stop the Dark Area's army with every last ounce of strength that we have. Those of you who feel like you can handle the responsibility or the determination it takes to look at yourself, and find out what you really need to become stronger, come with us.
